Re: Optimum weekly transdermal dosage

I used to wake up at 4 a.m. too and what worked for me was L- tryptophan,

L-tryptophan helps the body make melatonin naturally,

it also helps establish good serotonin levels (the feel good hormone),

I buy the capsules for better absorption ....500 mg.

This is my routine for a good nights sleep,

Celestial seasonings sleepytime tea...half a cup of hot water with teabag,

300 mg. of magnesium citrate,

500 mg. of l tryptophan,

about half an hour before going to sleep,

sometimes I add 100 mg of pantothanic acid and a little ascorbic acid (pure crystal powder) in water before bed to wake up not groggy in the morning...but this is optional,

the l tryptophan reallly works because it sends you into deep sleep cycles,

it has that ability,

it helps the body create melatonin naturally...so the body creates just what it needs,

taking melatonin orally can be bad because if you take it regurlarly the bopdy will stop producing it altogether.
