Re: The Candida is Killed by Alkalinity Myth
Well, I think you may have answered your own question? This is probably why your posts were moved to the debate forum? Having "evidence" to back you up does not automatically mean your point is undebatably correct. You will find that almost any point has corroboratig evidence to back it up, which is one reason why finding what works and even more so what works for YOU is so darn difficult.
Ok, so by your point ALL posts need to moved to the debate boards since everything is opinion and not fact, and all opinions can be backed by some form of evidence. My point was that I was not debating with anyone. I posted well known facts that have been backed with evidence. This is not only called support, but it is also a lot more than many posters here do who just make up thier own "facts" no matter who it may hurt.
As you see, Ruffneck already has some debating points. I for one only started to get better when I started being more alkaline. And, system-wide candida is not as unusual as you think. Mine was system-wide. Also, I am sure you know that gut ph and body-wide ph are 2 different values?
Various parts of the body have different pH values. The skin, stomach, and the female productive organs are normally acidic. The intestines pretty much alkaline even though there are acids being formed from the flora. The blood is slightly alkaline and the lymphatic system slightly more alkaline. But once agian the body can only survive in a very narrow pH range. Acidosis and alkalosis are very rare because the body has redundant systems to maintain this very narrow pH range.
