You are definitely making the right connections.
I was more abnormal everytime I had to use Antibiotics while on the mirena--I hated routine teeth cleanings because I have to take SUPER dose of Antibiotics before and after and with mirena's affect on gums, I was having my teeth cleaned every three to six months. I couldn't work out without immediately showering--even a five minute drive home was not advisable and, I couldn't go swimming without getting a yeast infection due to mirena--I wasn't sitting in wet bathing suit. Also, mirena causes high blood sugar. One consequence of high blood sugar, you guessed it yeast infection.
I would always feel what I would call WEIRD of OFF after Antibiotics , even without yeast infection. IT WAS AWFUL and a BIG factor in deciding to remove. My ob did tell me that the increased yeast infections were mirena related and to just treat them without coming in to her office everytime. Monistat gotta lot of money from me :-)
