Re: Thyroid Cancer Increasing

Another possibility for the increase in thyroid cancer is the fact that the US government was releasing radioactive Iodine from the Hanford nuclear power plant for decades to test the effects on the surrounding population. This story broke in the news about 15 years ago and we have not heard much about it since. There was also the Chernobyl accident that released a lot of radioactive Iodine 131.
