Re: Can colonics worsen depression initially?

"Can colonics affect emotions?"

Yes indeed! But from my experience what I have seen is the opposite of what you are experiencing. During the time I have been practicing colon hydrotherapy I have treated many people, mostly women, "in transition". with various degrees of depression. The transition can be a divorce, passing through a symbolic age (40 is a very common time for depression), the death of a spouse or loved one, among a number of other traumatic incidents.

But cleaning the old waste out of the colon also usually tends to help clear out negative emotions too.

What was it that prompted you to have your first colonic? Over what time period did you have the 3 of them? When is your next appointment? Are you letting yourself become constipated in between appointments?

Try to think positive things!

You have my support and best wishes, Valerie
