Re: Eating meat is fine

Brucester,

meat has an entirely different composition to plants. It is far more concentrated, despite originating from the plant kingdom; meat has been metamorphosed via plant-eating-life by the cells of the living body.
Meat is a very concentrated food.

Yes, Eskimos did live primarily on meat, as they had no other option, but this was RAW or very lightly cooked meat and fish which prevented such diseases such as scurvy, as the Ascorbate was intact and therefore did not suffer from other deficiency diseases.
If you would like to experiment with RAW meat for several months it would be interesting as to how you get on.
Personally I am not a fan of, or very keen to eat RAW meats.

Logic therefore tells us that the Eskimo, who lived mostly on raw meats and fish, would indirectly receive their nutrition from the plant kingdom in the food chain.

Yes, the western diet has a lot to answer for, not only to the Eskimos, but also the red-indian and the Hunzas to name just a few.

I have decided to allow Mouseclick the privilege of reinstating you or not within the WFSF, as it was he who banned your presence, not I.

I do however understand his reasons for doing so, and where the apology you have given, should/could go a long way in that aim.

Regards

Chrisb1.
