It is pretty bizarre that people with medical degrees would accept the bizarre explanation that the progestin in the Mirena never leaves the uterus. When I told my doctor point blank that was absurd, that of course it circulated in the blood stream, she admitted perhaps I was right, but "only in insignificant amounts."

Clearly, when it's in my blood, it's insignificant to her.
