I'm at 17 day removal. Started the following day. Had a week long cycle, just as it was 6 yrs. ago before mirena except a lot more clotting. Felt ucky all week, but lost a lot of bloatiness. Tons of people have commented on how much weight I have lost in the past couple weeks, but the scales are staying the same. I had lost 30 lbs. since thyroid removed 2 1/2 yrs. ago, but it slowly was going up when 2nd. mirena was inserted in Sept. 08. Now back to my usual weight before mirena 6yrs. ago. Glad for that. I had a crash last wed.-fri. But woke up Sat. and felt good. Sunday even better, but this week I sorta have the blahs, but not too bad. Having some discharge, slightly colored, no odor. May be I am ovulating. No clue when my cycle is due because I have had no periods for a while. I am going to start a log (thanks for that advise) Anyone interested in calling the lawyer T.J. Preus? Definately consider it. I think the more of us speaking out, the more action we'll get. Sorry ladies that your Docs. are so horrible. If they listened to us patients and did a little research, I think they would start to question this little pain in the butt device too.
