Thanks, but from what I understand Fuhrman merely invented the new word, and I picked up on it because it helped me focus on what eating should be all about.
From what you have said though, the practice is more or less what Natural Hygienists advise anyway, so it's not new. In fact, I think nutritarianism is what mankind has been striving for throughout our evolution. It's only of late that we have completely lost our sense of direction, thanks to the likes of TV advertising, supermarket food and the confusion of modern life. That is why the word was useful to me, it made me think.
And it wouldn't surprise me if Fuhrman got some of his ideas from Shelton, who himself was a Natural Hygienist. So perhaps you could thank Shelton too :)
