No doubt iodine is required and does work against some critters but to add a table of PVP-Iodine contact killing is a little misguided.

BTW: Don't forget cinnamon.

During the 1918 outbreak it was noticed that people who worked at a cinnamon processing factory did not catch the disease.

Another thing to keep in mind is that swine flu isn't a huge issue, so far the only confirmed cases of the "When Pigs Fly" flu are in Mexico.
