UNY!
Read about this valiant women´s struggle and remembered an incident in my childhood. May be of some help....
My younger sister had severe dystentery and refused to drink water, she was (and still is!) quite stubborn. She may have been around 5 or 6 years old, when this happened. When my mother took her to the hospital, the docs told her, it was too late. The dehydration was too advanced for her to survive. They did, however, give one last procedure a try and THANK GOD it worked. I was´nt there, but my Ma said, they injected (as in an injection with a very big canule, I imagine) water and I´m sure electrolytes, DIRECTLY into the intestines.
My prayers and best wishes go with this.....
