HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN COLONIC BOARD!!!!!! :) :) :) (long post)

hey guys. i too am in your same position...i can't afford to buy a colema board for $200, so i made my own, for pretty cheap too. here are some instructions for you guys to make your own board!

places to shop:

home depot, lowes, ace hardware (any hardware shop), walmart, etc...

some materials you need:

1) 45" x 22" wooden board ($7 from home depot...you can get a bigger/smaller size if you want, just depends on what your height is)
2) old bed sheet (free if you have one!)
3) vinyl siding (1 yard is $1.98
4) cheap white garbage bags
5) 5 gallon bucket (or you can buy two of them, seeing one of them could be your head support for the other side of the toilet, seeing that most toilets are about the same height at a bucket is)
6) tubing set (can be as expensive as $40+ or cheap for a few bucks from ace hardware...but if you do get some cheap plastic tubing from ace, you will have to buy the rectal tips from some place online or wherever they are sold, which are pretty cheap, and make sure they fit the end of the tubing...and you might want to get a siphoning syringe, which comes in a normal tubing set, to get the water flow moving...)
7) some kind of saw to cut a hole in it to fit over a toilet (if you dont have one, ask a neighbor to help you...i think my hole was measured something like 10" x 12"...)
8) some type of splash guard (get creative!)

now, if you don't mind spending around $60 for a board, i would recommend that you just buy the tubing kit online for the normal colema boards, which is around $40 plus shipping (which is what i did). now, if you want to be really thrifty, you can go to a place like ace hardware and just buy some plastic tubing stuff. i didnt even know that ace carried plastic tubing until a few days ago, and its very cheap too, around $1-2 bucks a yard or so (i think?).

after i bought the wooden board, i had my dad help me cut a hole in it and take a few inches off the back end, because it was a little too long to fit in my bathroom. next, i found an old black bedsheet, to wrap around the board, and just duct taped it to the bottom part of the board. you could even put an old blanket around the board if you think it would fit, just so you have some extra padding and comfort. then i took some of the plastic vinyl sheet i bought from walmart (located in the arts and crafts area) and stretched it over the board, and taped it to the back. 1 yard of the vinyl should be plenty, but you might want to get 2 yards just in case you want to use it for something else.

so now we have the board all nice and shiney :) now its time to figure out what to do with the plastic tubing!!!!!! now, you are gonna need some type of splash guard so you can wrap the garbage bags around them for easy cleanup purposes. what i did was just buy a sample of this vinyl type flooring from lowes or home depot, and nailed it to the board so that i could cut out a little hole to stick the tubing in. it looks a little funny on the board but it works great! after you cut a tiny little hole in the board (where the rectal tip area will be coming out) just put the tubing on, siphon the hose, and you are ready to go. if you want to be able to make the board even more portable (like to be able to do colonics in your room) i would suggest getting a total of (3) 5 gallon buckets, one to put under the poopin hole, the other for body support, and the other for the water. also, when you do the home colonics, make sure the bucket is a 3 or so feet above your board, just so you get a faster water flow happening.
