Re: Digestive issues and weight gain~~

Emerald, is it possible for you to send me a private message to let me know where that lab was that tested your thyroid?

Just like both posters here.. I have the same problem.. I've tired every diet in the book.. including HEATHY BALANCED EATING.. and I rarely lose weight. and yes.. I've tried it all.. and NO counting calories doesn't work... just cause I know someone always chimes in with the whole "calories in, calories out" thing... and that has never, ever worked for me.. I've meticulously tracked my calories.. weighed and measured every morsal of food.. tracked my totals daily in fit day... played with calorie levels until my head hurt... exercised my butt off, and managed to gain weight anyway... it's not all about calories.. it's about waging a war with your body.. and trust me, your body always wins.

I have also had horrible digestive issues.. in a nutshell.. I have had explosive diarhea, 2-10 times a day for over 15 years... diet change didn't work.. over the counter meds didn't work.. fasting didn't work.. prescription medications didn't work.. fiber didn't work.. what did work for me.. was finally getting a good anti parasite program.. 45 days after I started humaworm... my diarhea went away... now I only have an occaisional bout if I eat something that doesn't agree with me. So, you just have to keep searching and trying things until you find the problem.

I did want to say that your problem with your mouth/teeth sort of waved a red flag for me... I don't have a source to quote, but, I have read where problems with bacteria overgrowth in mouth is either a symptom OR a cause of other problems in your body. Maybe you need to focus on cleaning up your mouth first... and see if that can help. I'm going to suggest you go and take a read through the "oil pulling" forum.. I thought it was absolutely the craziest thing I had ever read when I first heard about oil pulling.. but, I gotta tell ya.. lots of people have wonderful results.. it certainly would help your gum issues... and I'm thinking.. if you have an overgrowth of bacteria in your mouth.. you are probably swollowing that everytime you eat.. and I think oil pulling may help with that issue.. just a thought... good luck..
