A quickie about making your own Superfood

I made my own Superfood for the first time not too long ago. I forgot to mention then that I decided to add a "part" of kelp to my recipe. I need kelp for a natural source of Iodine and was adding some to my Supersmoothies every day. Smart me says "add it to the Superfood."

I was afraid the kelp would make the SF taste too fishy, but it doesn't. It's goooooooooood.

Be careful with kelp, as some manufacturers of kelp harvest it from polluted oceans. I trust Mountain Rose Herbs.

The only thing I don't like in a way about "my" first batch of superfood as opposed to Uny's is I didn't grind up my orange and lemon peels enough so they get stuck in my straws. :-) But in another way, slightly bigger peels are a good thing, because I HAVE to "chew my juice."

BTW, somebody wanted my mango-pear smoothie recipe. It's just 5 mangoes and a ripe pear juiced to make a sort of pudding. Stick that in a blender, add a tablespoon or two of coconut oil and some ice. Whirl it all together, and go to heaven for a few minutes. :-)
