Re: Vitamins Alter Aging: New Study.
Blowing In The Wind,
if I understand you correctly from your broken English, pill-form nutrition is not necessarily "questionable" as long as it is bioavailable and absorbed by the body as in chelation.
No I don't eat red meat (as yet), but amino-acids within meat have to be broken down by the body from animal protein into available amino acids to form human protein.............which is more difficult.
Much easier and more bioavailable to receive your amino acids as free-form amino acids from the vegetable kingdom which go directly to form human protein.
In other words you don't have to eat protein to get your protein (if you see what I mean).
A good case in point here would be the silverback gorilla which receives all of its own protein from the vegetable kingdom.
Of course some amino acids are manufactured by the body anyway and where it is only the eight essential aminos that need to be found from food sources.
It is a fallacy (in my opinion) that you need to eat meat (red or otherwise) to obtain your aminos or protein to form who and what you are.
