Re: Amazes me that people want sharia law in the west or why disagree with that message?

Yes the mind boggles doesn't it, that people seem to want Sharia law and sharia compliant finance brought into the west and don't think its nasty. Ofcourse the simple and most obvious answer is that some muslims want Sharia in the west; and there are some muslims here posting on Curezone.... Other possible explanations are well meaning people who think all cultures need a fair go, but don't really understand what Sharia is all about.

Its really sad that some muslims "like" this kind of treatment in Sharia; cutting off heads, cutting off limbs, beatings, stonings, forced child brides. Its very difficult to do something humanitarian about it except to try and protect our own countries FROM it.. and to try to stand up for the small minority inside of Islam who oppose it and who are trying to change Islam from within, like for example Wafaa Sultan and Ayaan Hirsi Ali who wrote the following book which is a very good read: http://www.ecampus.com/bk_detail.asp?isbn=9780743289689
