Hi Gracey! It's been sooooo long!

How are you doing these days? How is your health? I do hope that the improvements you experienced in the summer are here to stay...!

You know, my friend who is just learning astrology too (we're all students!) just lent me a book by Stephen Arroyo (I've read one of his: Astrology, Karma & Transformation - I recommend it! He's reeeeally good - a lot of astrology books don't go as deep as he does) and I think you would really enjoy it too - the one I just read is 'Astrology, Psychology and the 4 Elements' - it's a goody too! The second section especially - where he really goes into the four elements and a really fantastic way to look at each of the houses - you'll learn SO much by looking at your own chart as you read - it's amazing.

So, those might be a couple more books to put on your wish list!

Oh yeah, right now I'm at quite the challenging spot in my life - imagine this:

In my natal chart I have this big old opposition:

11th house Pluto/Uranus/Mars conjunct in Virgo opposing Chiron/Saturn conjunct in Pisces in the 5th house - and now...transiting Pluto in Sagittarius is squaring the whole lot!! ugh ugh ugh! It feels like alllll my lifetimes have culminated in trying to integrate this old opposition of insecurity re: Real vs Illusion/Ideal....it's pretty complex but the transformation and break down and death of the old Self is beginning and it feels pretty icky at times!! My dreams are totally reflecting this transit soooooooo vividly...so I'm keeping track of them and they're helping me to see what stage I'm at and how my inner self is dealing with it - amazingly a lot is happening during my sleep 'other worldly' state which is great...(the real drama is going on in my dreams right now! sobbing because the old house of my childhood will be demolished etc...) So, there ya' go! I think I'm ready!
