Re: Sooo..is it good for candida or NOT?

Where are you getting your information? It isn't the alkalinity that kills the pathogens in the body. It's the raised oxygen levels the alkalinity creates in the body.

Pub Med proved that outside the body pathogens thrive in and alkaline environment. They failed to realize that in the human body the oxygen levels rise.

First of all the examples I gave were for iniside the body. Secondly, the oxygen levels are not as important as you are trying to make it out to be.

"Oxygen “burns” or oxidizes these harmful critters. In addition, oxygen boosts the body’s metabolism increasing its energy reserves that “fuel” and mobilize the immune system to go out and fight whatever is left after the initial fray is finished. Oxygen also helps heal whatever tissue damage was done by the pathogens during their reign of terror. For these reasons, boosting oxygen levels in the body can be one of the most powerful weapons for overcoming polysystemic candidiasis and returning the body to a natural state of health and balance. Ozone, fortified oxygen, can get the job done many times faster. Of course there are many other things that can and should be done as a part of a complete program, but it cannot be overstated the importance of oxygen levels in the tissue and blood."

This is somewhat misleading. What they fail to state is that many organisms will function in an anaerobic state regardless of the oxygen content. This is why hyperbaric oxygen does not treat all infections.

Oxygen is important for energy, metabolism, healing, etc., but it is not the all round antiseptic. And ozone and singlet oxygen are not the same as O2 and therefore cannot be compared to the O2 we breathe.
