Trying to kill Candida will not work. As I have pointed out before it is a natural part of the body. It is the overgrowth in its fungal form that leads to problems. Candida converts from the safer yeast form to the aggressive and pathogenic fungal form when exposed to an alkaline environment. Killing the Candida does not work though because the dead Candida will just turn around and become food for the surviving Candida.
For the same reason antifungal herbs like pau' d' arco will not work. They will help to knock it back, but if you want to get it back under control you will have to provide a slightly acidic hostile environment for it. This will keep the Candida in the yeast form. You will also have to get your immune system back in charge. This is a little more complicated as the immune system is a complex mixture of quite a few things.
