The guy with Strongyloides died...they discovered it was for sure Strongyloides in the autopsy. They had suspected strongyloides, and given him Ivermectin...but he got worse, and died. They didn't know he hadn't taken his Ivermectin--until his collie dog died and they discovered the partly eaten container with the ivermectin.

These are all older shows that have been on, but I've never seen them before. I didn't catch the name of the parasite that was found in the man's brain that had been in Costa Rica 10 years prior...the one that one of his symptoms was being "too nice" and they thought he had syphyllis that had altered his brain/personality.

Then there was the lady that they figured out she had African Sleeping Sickness, that had never been to Africa- but she had had an affair and gotten it that way.

I've learned stuff from watching it :) They actually must have to do some researching for it. I haven't watched any of the more recent shows.

BTW--if the poster that was asking about Strongyloides reads this--I've heard Newport say before that zapping hits Strongyloides.
