Re: New and have some questions about Candida
A few suggestions based on my experience.
1. According to the Body Ecology Diet (greatly developed to combat candida) Quinoa, millet, amaranth, and buckwheat are grains that do not feed yeast. I use the BED diet and eat a lot of Quinoa. You can also get puffed millet (you were looking for a cereal) at places like whole foods. These grains might help your fiber intake.
These diets do tend to make people drop weight and fast, even if they do not need to. You can increase the oils in your diet. Virgin coconut oil is a great one with natural anti-fungal qualities too. Liberally cooking with it or some people add it to smoothies, could help keep the weight loss down. Other oils like pumpkin seed oil, safflower, sunflower, evening primrose oil, flaxseed or help oils can be used as dressings too and have great nutrition.
It sounds like you may be having
parasite issues as well and may want to consider a
parasite cleanse...and a
Bowel Cleanse is almost always helpful. Lots of different options of ways to do these cleanses, so pick what works/appeals to you and remember that it is a journey.
