Still, it would also be fair to
remind ourselves that there have
always been unbalanced people in
the world. Most likely you could
equally find other contributing
factors which triggered this
person's rage and the attacks
instead of blaming it on others.
Before there was the internet,
there were the likes of Charles
Mason and Jim Jones and a myriad
of other characters in the American
dream and nightmare. Think
Theodore Kaczynski types, who
live without the benefit of
running water or electricity and
yet, disasterously he made his
mark on the world for years as
the Unabomber.

I suppose it comes down to that
age old question, what came first,
the chicken or the egg. The likes
of Alex Jones, Ron Paul, and others
have risen to causes which are
symptoms of a societal dis-ease
which needs attention. Change will
come in spite of you ranting foul
or labeling them with inflammatory
rhetoric. The seeds are planted
within of their own making. For
every million people who may
listen to Alex Jones or others,
there may be one who takes what
he or she reads or hears and
twists it into a dark thought
form. I blame the perpetrator
of the crime and not the music
he was listening to...
