Herxheimer Reaction?

It just crossed my mind to look up the Herxheimer Reaction, which means that the treatment being followed is releasing more toxins, faster than the body can be rid of them.

This reaction actually means that your treatment is actually working very well, and that, as your body adjusts to the release of toxins, you will heal faster than most.

Isn't that nice to hear?!

I feel fine now, thank goodness...but that was a depressing fright I just had.

Luckily, the Herxheimer Effect is recognized by mainstream medicine, too...though I don't know how often they recognize or admit it.

At least, should I need to go to hospital, as dh wishes I would, I can bandy about that term, and sound like I know a little of what I'm talking about.

Sure would like to hear from someone who has had, or seen, this symptom. I'm feelin a tad lonely, at the moment.

I mean, who's going to get into the sites I visit, and say that I won't be back, and I'm not ticked off or anything, just gone?

If anyone wants to know, I'll be stepping up my 'body-cleaning' steps, tomorrow.
