Re: Christophers....lung and bronchial formula
Equal parts of each...BUT you should tincture the Lobelia separately!
Lobelia needs to be tinctured in both Apple Cider Vinegar AND alcohol. You CAN add equal parts ACV & Alcohol to the jar with the Lobelia (the way it's most commonly done) - but here's any even MORE effective way:
//www.curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=1206781#i
Since there's five ingredients total, you can either:
--tincture each ingredient separately, pressing each, then add them to the final bottle in separate/equal measure.
--OR tincture 4 of the ingredients together and the Lobelia separately, press, and use 4/5 of the mixed tincture and 1/5 of the Lobelia in each bottle.
We do the first option.
Note: there are times in Dr. Christophers formulas when the Lobelia is added, not for it's "active ingredients" (as in the Lung/Bronchial), but as (what he called) a "thinking herb" to direct the herbs/body how to utilize the herbs effectively. In these formulas, we have found that simply adding the Lobelia to the typical alcohol tincture seems to accomplish this effect. But whenever Lobelia is needed to be 'active', we always use the alcohol/vinegar method.
Also note: many times when the Lobelia tincture made with alcohol/vinegar is added to the the straight alcohol mixtures, you see some type of 'reaction' (this is the case with the Herbal Calcium formula). I've never found any reason to be concerned.
