There is way more to these types of parasites than is currently known. I have found one type infecting me, which is apicomplexan [same family as toxo] but much, much smaller. There may even be a direct fungal component to these parasites. BTW there are over 4000 strains of apicomplexan parasites.
I am not the only one to find this, because recently some scientist {Dr. Fry; that is all I know} found a parasite that sounds just like this; he describes it as the "north Amercican" malaria, because it has features of both toxoplasma, and plasmodium [malaria].
He figures it is wide spread.
His version is protozoan with "tail".
I speculate this may be why many people doing ELISA and western blot have positive bands for 41kDa which is flagellum, but are tentatively negative for Bb. Shroom
