Re: Need help... was in ER
Did you take any of the companion supplements when starting iodine; your symptoms sounds as a magnesium deficiency; + possibly selenium (palpitations)
If you didnt take these I suggest you do + clean up your diet (?) / do some cleansing before you introduce
Iodine again, slowly. To increase uptake of Magnesium; vit B6 is needed.
To get rid of fluoride; borax is one remedy; more info in the post "fluoride chelation " a few lines down the forum page.

Magnesium is the most common mineral deficiency
Magnesium – not calcium – is the most common mineral deficiency. Although calcium gets the headlines, people with diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure and heart disease are almost always suffering from low tissue levels of magnesium.
Angina, carbohydrate cravings, cramps, chest tightness, irregular heart beats, numbness, tingling and stiff aching muscles are all signs of magnesium deficiency. A high
Sugar diet and stress of all kinds depletes magnesium.
As the mineral band leader, magnesium controls all other minerals. Without sufficient magnesium, for example, calcium becomes a bully – replacing magnesium in soft tissue throughout the body. Hard calcium plaques and brittle arteries are the result.
(Please remember that routine blood tests do not reveal tissue levels of magnesium. Ask your doctor for a blood cell or magnesium loading test. If you supplement with just one mineral – make it magnesium!)
