Re: roller coster ride

The roller coaster represents a situation in which one experiences emotional highs followed by lows or depression. (Note how a roller coaster has a powerful effect upon the body, indicating it is an emotionally related situation or way of thinking.)

Waiting in line to get on the roller coaster would imply that in your own mind you are willing to serve the needs of a very emotional way of thinking – a way of thinking that allows you to experience great joys, hope, optimism which is followed by sorrow, discouragement or Depression – and seeing this emotional tendency as being in order or appropriate. You are “in line” for this emotional experience using your way of thinking.

The two adults with a child each would represent a negative and wrong way of thinking which has been very productive – a way of thinking that you appear to be using when thinking about a kind of situation which can produce both emotional highs and lows.

The scene is suggesting that you are using an idea or way of thinking (represented by your son of about 5yrs.)which is not letting you think with your adult knowledge and intelligence (as your son is actually an adult) where it pertains to a kind of situation with the potential of giving you emotionally both highs and lows. Here this way of thinking seems like a blessing that has befallen you. (son sits in your lap)

[Are you the type of person who is afraid of very happy, joyful situations? Do you have a belief that being too happy is dangerous because it can lead to the opposite situation very quickly. The problem with this kind of belief is that you give yourself a negative point of view that is self fulfilling, especially as there is a fear involved. (This point is emphasized in the dream by the 2 adults with a kid each) Instead of focusing on the up, the positive and the happy, unintelligent thinking (the 5 yrs. old son) seems to make a bigger deal about the low that is “expected” to follow. Your mental and emotional aspects may not be working for the same goal. Your mind (the son) seems to find the emotional roller coaster exhilarating. Negative beliefs will thwart your desire to do without this.]
