roller coster ride

Background: I have always been terrified in roller costers. I even don´t like to feel emotionaly like in a roller coaster.


I was waiting in line to ride in a roller coaster. There were two other adults, who got into the roller coster with one kid each one.
When it was my turn I took my son (who is an adult now)he was about 5 years old, he was sitting in my lap. I told him If you´re scared you just hold yourself thightly: The funny thing is that in a heavy download he wasn´t scared. He was happy,excited and laughing.

Do anyone has an idea of its possible meanig?
