My problem is that there is an inconsistency in what MDs can do and they are "supposed" to ie. provide health care, rather than only surgery or shots.

If I may go on, I agree they have proven to help millions to heal through surgery or shots. Millions more have died with those same tools. Death due to medical mistakes are the eight cause of death in the nation, last I read.

Regardless, they should be called "Surgeons" or "Shots-givers" and we as a culture really should revise our notion of MDs as healers. A new entity, a true healer should be allowed to manifest.

While Naturopaths might be that for some, every one I have looked at has some marketing scheme which just seems like they are transplanted doctors selling pharmaceuticals....
