Re: Are Dr.s evil, stupid or what?
No, just somewhat ignorant. My mother was a nurse. Say says, of the total 8 years doctors have in medical training, only 4 hours is spent in nutrition and preventive health.
The best is to find an actural M.D. that excells in complimentary, integrative, holistic, naturopathic or anti-aging. Or go strictly naturopathic. Than by checking these organizational lists on the computers, (National Association of Naturopathic Doctors......) (Doctors of integrated Medicine ) you can get a break down of what they specialize in. Hormones, endrocrinology, chronic fatigue, etc. ) naturopathic, is what you want to look for. And than email them or call them and speak to them personally, not there nurse or receptionist. Be persistant to speak with them. Find out if they are caring about your health issues, this way, you will know they will devote sincere attention to you health, should you choose to schedule an appointment with them. I choose an M.D. that excells in naturopathic, because with an M.D. most insurances will at least cover the appointment, consultation costs, and blood work cost, but not saliva test cost.
