More on enzymes/parasites
Microbe Detectives is no longer an active forum (unfortunately, she had good research info), but this is also talking about the digestive enzymes/parasites:

>>Most
parasites produce anti-trypsin or anti-protease enzymes which our bodies use to pull down the cancer proteins and albumins and their byproducts. The
parasites use these anti-protease enzymes as a defence against our digestive enzymes so they can survive in the gut and wherever these enzymes may be encountered. While
we can survive for a long period with these
parasites and their effects on our own enzyme system, this condition leads to diminished health, makes us more susceptible to infection, and ultimately cancer. They are also, by disabling our digestive enzymes, disabling the nutrition of the body leading to sub-acute cachexia: starvation of the host, which of course leads to suppressed immune response. The pancreatic enzymes are the first line of defense against many pathogens, parasites, and especially cancer cells. It is important to rid the body of these parasites and their harmful effects on our defense and digestive mechanisms.

If you put in a search for "bromelain" on this forum, you'll see many posts where Newport has said to take it for cysts, such as the T Solium (pork tape worm) cysts, or for decaying parasites such as the Dog Heart Worm that aren't in the digestive tract when they die. When using it for the parasites, take it in between meals, away from proteins.
