Chill out dude.- LOL
tsk, tsk, apparently you can't see that I'm on your side! Frankly I thought what I wrote was funny - apparently you didn't think so. My point was simple: - Mexican aristocracy is Mexican, not Spanish. The Spanish have enough BS to deal with with their own aristocracy, but at least they're not the ones bombarding our country with tons of illegals and illegal substances. (They get enough influx of troublesome aliens of their own) But again, we don't refer to Americans as English, so why refer to Mexicans as Spanish??? Colonists may have left some sorry human aspects to their colonies, but we have made enought strides in the new world to merit being called by our own names, not that of the previous colonists. There, that shows I'm a politically incorrect Europhile, I guess that makes me a racist, shucks!
Yes, aristocracy world-wide has always been infested by seedy and corrupt characters, but to be honest with you, I, being the furthest thing from an aristocrat, do prefer to leave them in place, as history has shown us what attempts at abolishing aristocracy in and of itself can do - the Bolsheviks come to mind.
And on that note, I agree with you about reading history, it is indeed repeating itself right before our eyes!
P.S. How did you interpret my little side comment as some kind of affront to your whole message? (*shrugs*)
