Re: friendship
That is odd, all those stories. There may be specific cases why friendships cease. I know there are times when I know why a friendship has ended!
I can relate to your hurt feelings - that happens to me when I can't figure out why someone had chosen a path that specifically doesn't include me even though I know this may not reflect badly on me! For example, my sister has taken a different path but she seems to be drawn towards people and situations that bring her drama and heartache. This is not something I care to provide! (I don't like drama.)
I do believe I will have a good network and I will never be completely lonely. I do miss having close friendships at times when I'm far away without that busom friend to confide in. I hope when I'm older I'll have been in the same place for a while and I'll definitely be involved in the community which will help that social need - I love being in theatre and singing groups, etc.
BTW, you'll have to tell me where the Thai place is! Here in Hawaii we have access to a lot of great Thai food. My husband got me into it and now I love it but I don't know where to get good Thai in Virginia. Hook me up, girl!
