Re: CHiron - Rainbow Bridge

Chiron was birthed into human consciousness on November 1st 1977 at around 10am Pacific Time.

At about this time many hitherto suppressed alternative methods of healing therapies - of body, mind and soul - began to arise in Western cultures. Knowledge of different forms of therapy and indeed of alternative religious and spiritual paths became more and more widespread and it became clear to astrologers that Chiron was connected to both the wound of humanity - our loss of connection with the earth - and to our healing.

He is known as the Wounded Healer, symbolising to me the Maimed Fisher King in the Wasteland, whose wound cannot be healed until the Wasteland is once again fertile and green.

Chiron’s other name is that of the Rainbow Bridge, the link between the inner or ‘lower’ (personality) and the outer or ‘higher’ (transpersonal) self. It is also the bridge from collective unconsciousness to collective or group consciousness which is the keynote of the Age of Aquarius - that which is most certainly being birthed into the world at this time.
