THIS STUDY IS NEARLY COMPLETELY ENROLLED EXCEPT FOR MIRENA IUD USERS IN THEIR 30s.

Healthy women age 18-39 using the Mirena IUD (containing hormones) or hormone-free birth control are invited to participate in a study.

USC+LAC Medical Center/Women’s and Children’s Hospital Department of Gynecology is currently conducting a study comparing IUD users to women not using hormonal birth control.

Study length is 2 months, includes physical exams and lab tests.
