Any tips for better success?
Dear Moreless and Drink Fans:
Some months ago I had started the drink in earnest but tended to fall off the kelp. At that time I was also ingesting bananas and oranges and started craving grapefruit juice. After starting the juice, I started having scary cardiac events at night. I realized, OK, my adrenals are crap and I am messing up my potassium/sodium ratios big time. (and I cannot trust my food cravings).
I stopped all the high potassium fruits and read many of your posts about the adrenals. So, I also stopped the molasses and started eating just the kelp (the a. nodosum you recommend as the 'higher sodium' variety). This helped a LOT and the cardiac events stopped immediately. I'd like to get back with the rest of the drink, but am I messing up the dynamics of the drink if I continue to take it without the molasses? (I have bought a capsule maker so that I won't fall off the kelp again.)
Also, I just don't get why ph strips can measure urine but not water? I bought a digital water meter and cannot seem to get a consistent read on water at all. I don't know if the thing is broken or this is how it is?
