My mother was given a terminal diagnosis for stage IV appendix cancer. She got a second opinion and got the surgery she needed. No one should EVER accept a terminal diagnosis till ALL options have been exhausted. I read the blog briefly and do believe people should be skeptical. Skeptical about EVERYTHING. I am skeptical about chemo AND some alternative treatments for appendix cancer which doesn't respond to the traditional mainstream and alternative remedies. My mother did very well with flax and cottage, juicing and floressence. It's even endorsed by her doctor at Memorial Sloan Kettering. Cancer is evil and takes away a lot of good people.
