Two years ago I was suffering from hypoadrenia and hypothyroid. Both of which were not being treated. I had a longstanding cough for a month that I now realize I needed cortisol for. I went to the convenient center at the local hospital where they had me breathe albuterol to "open the lungs". After receiving that "treatment" for 10-15 minutes I had the symptoms of pulmonary hypertension. Then later I had symptoms of dysautonomia. I eventually started supplememtal cortisol and thyroid. Ive had heart palpitations every since the albuterol.
Now, two years later I have ominous symptoms of pulmonary hypertension. When i go up stairs i feel breathless and my heart races among other symptoms. Have you heard of pulmonary hypertension being initiated in this way? What can I do about it? The prognosis is dire. I am trying to get an appointment to get the diagnosis. The list of drugs that are taken with that disease is incredible. Is there some other way to treat it?
