First of all, so called "normal" ranges are pretty useless. It would take time to explain that, but this is a fact regarding not only thyroid testing but most other things as well. What is considered normal includes all those people who are not healthy, so you don't want to be only normal.
In general a good TSH score is around 1.0 or even less. You could be mildly hypothyroid, perhaps even more than mild. But you might not be; its hard to tell from the info you give here. To know better you need free T3 and free T4, and also antibody testing(there are two different ones of those), in other words testing for thyroid is a full thyroid series, about six things minimum. Also, in general, the TSH test is not very relevant, as free T3 is more important. If you did the free T3 test then you can repost it here but you have to include the lab ranges, as every lab has different ranges.
