The Alpha Stim runs at .5hz. The Brain Tuner works at 111hz which has a setting that pulses the 111hz at .5hz. Similar effects, I have'nt tried the Alpha but do own the Brain Tuner. If you focus on the issues you are anxious about while you have it on it sort of works like an EFT or accupuncture session. You should feel more relaxed and less anxious after a couple of sessions. The BT-7 is a good choice especially at this price:
