In fact, the children of the hard nose Right Winger are also hard nosed Right Wingers. And the children of the Liberal Left are Liberal Left themselves.

My parents were democrats. My dad did vote for Regan. My mom hated Rush Limbaugh for no good reason. She didn't even listen to him. I couldn't understand that.

It seems to me that logic and reason are parts of the path way to finding what the truth is. This is why I do listen to the other side sometimes.

Since I was very young, I somehow knew the US Contitution was there to limit power by restraining those who seeked to usurp power from the people. My conservatism grew from there.
