I agree it can work as long as every one of the ten households are of the same mindset that "we are all in this together". Everyone needs to love the other person as themself to be able to share freely.
All it takes is one person who is selfish and only concerned about themself to slowly drag the whole 10 into the same mindset of selfishness.....or is it possible that a group of 10 families can be loving enough to forgive the selfish person and try and work around them?
