what ph tester to get?

I would like to get a ph tester as I am not able to read the ph strips well, colours too confusing. I saw the Hanna checker1 ph tester mentioned in several places, but people also say the calibrating of it is a nuisance. Is there a tester out there that is affordable and easy to use? I would like to use it for urine, saliva, and also to test the kombucha that I make regularly.
