I had the Paraguard in for 19 days and had to have it removed. They don't tell you that there are other metals in it. it has nickel in it and I am very allergic to nickel. My insurance wouldn't pay for it so after $650.00 and 19 day later my insurance ended up with thousands in bills. I ended up in the hospital very ill.
All I have to say is do research.
I was going to have Essure done and called the company after my OB said it was made with titanium just to make sure and it is but also has nickel and stainless steel in it. They were pushing and pushing it.
