Re: update - Fuhrman eating plan, 2 1/2 weeks in
Aww, you're so sweet sending me love!!! :-D While you're at it, may I just say that every single post I've seen from you holds a quality of sweet kindness so I just think you're the bees knees! (Plus I love any reason to use the phrase bees knees)
Thanks for the useful responses. That seems like a lot of flax. I'm pretty sure I'll start eating meat when hubby comes back and once I had a tuna/avocado sandwich from the health store. I think if you're doing the whole program with ETL, no need for EFH. What I've learned is that ETL is the whole hardcore plan and Eat For Health is a book that breaks it down into 4 progressive phases while helping you deal with bigger issues. I've already been on phase 4 for the whole time really but I'm still reading the whole thing to get all the info. I figure this book will be great for someone who would like to change but has a lot more trouble jumping into such a drastic change.
I'm finding it easier not to snack most of the time although yesterday I ate all morning. I felt compelled to so I'm not beating myself up. Today didn't snack a bit or yesterday after lunch. I figure part of my healing process will take care of that.
As for elimination :-O hearing stuff like that was my first wake up call that my system was not healthy. I've always worked out and been a decent weigh so I did not know. Perhaps it is all the dairy but *looks around*... don't tell anyone *whispers* 3 times a week used to be a lot for me! It used to be 1x or less. Very unusual, shocked the doctor who looked around for bloated fatness but didn't see any! Anywho, so I'm going more but not 2-3 daily for sure although sometimes. So I guess when I get to that point and my odd belly feelings are gone, I'll know I've accomplished some major healing.
Anywho, man I post long notes. I'm going to go be productive. culaterkthxbye
