Re: Go to the thyroid pages at About.com
Thanks for the info. will check it out.
My main symptoms are SEVERE muscle weakness, sometimes lightheaded, anxiety, intolerance to stress ( even very minor) and to heat and cold. And here is the biggie, I just found out at the doctors office 4 days ago, I have gained 22
pounds in only 6 months. With my severe fatigue for over 9 months, I'd expect maybe 10 pounds, but 20? And, I eat (have always eaten super healthy) I eat mainly vegetables and lean protein, and very limited grains and fruits, and no
Sugar or sweets at all. I am seeing a doctor whom specializes more in adrenal and fatigue this Friday, a 110 miles trip, of which my husband will be taking me. Need to have full thyroid panel done. I already have adrenal fatigue and was diagnosed with that 8 years ago. Plus, my immune system is shot too. I'm just praying God will help this doctor to find out what is wrong and get well. Interestingly, 9 years ago, the same time I was diangosed with low morning cortisol levels, my thyroid was low too. My naturopathic dr. had me take Armour Thyroid and with the very first one, I had horrible anxiety which lasted for a long time. had to take a tranquiizer to calm everything down. That'w why I'm afraid to take Armour ever again. Am checking into Wilson's syndrome too.
