My CDSA test results...questions. Please help!

Hi.

I've explained my situation before in a post titled "my story"...here's a quick recap.

I've used antibiotics periodically throughout my life..26 years...(Chronic ear problems..sinus infections..etc.)

Three years ago I experienced a period of EXTREME stress..fight or flight activated perpetually..I experienced what I came to know as "Depersonalization"...this was Mid-April 2006.

I still to this day feel the "unreality" sensations associated with Depersonalization...but my health has deteriorated since April 2006.

I believe all my issues began when stress began to exhaust my body.

May 2008..I decided that I might have Candida (read my story for all my symptoms) + Leaky Gut..I took "Candida Clear" for 1 week..I had been on the Candida diet for 1 month. I experienced extreme die-off..and have NEVER returned to baseline. I went from Depersonalizaed but functioning..to completely non-functioning..I stayed on the diet..but stopped the antifungals..hoping I would return to normal. Went off the diet for 2 months...but began in earnest September 2008. In September I stayed with my parents right after they had their hardwood floors reinstalled/stained.. The one night I spent in the house TOTALLY #@^(@# me up. I have felt absolutely out of it since that night. I can't focus enough to read a single page in a book (I was reading numerous books).

I've been on a strict candida/leaky gut diet since September..100% organic..distilled water. I take four caps of Mercury/PCB-free Fish Oil each day. I also take "Seacure" for my leaky gut.

I fully realize that there is a connection between my mind and body. I know I need to deal with my fears. I suspect my heightened anxiety/fear has taxed my adrenals to the max..(adrenal fatigue)..which set in motion the candida/leaky gut/ Liver congestion issues I'm experiencing.

My stool results from September...I didn't have the moneny to have them analyzed by the ND that ordered the test. I'm hoping that somone can explain what might be causing my problems here. My brain fog is unrelenting.


Digestion:

Chymotrypsin = 6.4 (0.9-26.8 U/g)

Putrefactive SCFAs (Total)= 4.9 (1.3-8.6 micromol/g)



Metabolic Markers:

Beneficial SCFAs (Total)= 31.7 (>=13.6 micromol/g)

n-Butyrate = 5.6 (>=2.5 micromol/g)

Beta-Glucuronidase = 300 (337-4,433 U/g)

pH = 7.1 (6.1-7.9)


SCFA distribution:

Acetate% = 52.8 (44.5-72.4%)

Propionate% = 29.7 (<=32.%)

n-Butyrate% = 17.7 (10.8-33.5%)

All these are negative:

Fecal Lactoferrin, Mucas, Occult Blood


Absorption:

Triglycerides = 2.8 (0.2-3.3 mg/g)

Long Chain Fatty Acids = 5.0 (1.3-23.7 mg/g)

Cholesterol = 3.0 (0.2-3.5 mg/g)

Phospholipids = 0.7 (0.2-8.8 mg/g)

Fecal Fat (Total) = 11.5 (2.6-32.4 mg/g)


Bacteriology:

Beneficial Bacteria:

Lactobacillus species = NG (No Growth)

Escherichia coli = 3+

Bifidobacterium = 1+


Additional Bacteria:

Alpha haemolytic Streptococcus = 4+ (Non-Pathogen)

Haemolytic Escherichia coli = 4+ (Non-Pathogen)


Mycology:

No Growth









OK...So my Beta-Glucuronidase was low...which might explain my stunted Phase II liver hypothesis..reason why I feel toxic...?

I don't have an overgrowth of Candida according to the stool smaple..despite having numerous symptoms..and experiencing severe die-off reactions when attempting antifungal treatment..

But...apparently..something has caused a dysbiosis..as my good bacteria is either low (Bifidobacterium)...or absent (Lactobacillus).

When I have attempted to take probiotics..I had severe brain fog/die-off reactions. Both with probiotic pills..and kefir.



Can anyone explain any of this mess to me? I suppose I could have parasites..but I want to know why my body became so messed up after I tired to kill "Candida" in May 2008...while this test claims I have no Candida overgrowth.

Any help?
