Depression is a puzzling disease to say the least. I can't make heads nor tails out of it. I've pretty much reconciled myself to having it at some level for the rest of my life. I do enjoy things now, I laugh a lot, interact quite well with people. But there is always this "thing" inside of me -- why do people make life so hard, why do they put up with what's going on in the world, why are they so cruel to each other sometimes? Oh, well, just a vent. I feel things very deeply.
I do find that people suffering from Depression are usually incredibly introspective. Perhaps this has something to do with it?
