Re: I'm new...and I have a couple questions.
Why not try the salt water flush or an enema instead of the pills?
I agree with reallyblessed, this is not a weight loss diet and after the cleanse weight comes back REALLY quickly if you don't exercise, build up your food intake slowly and change your eating habits permanently. I would be concerned with switching back and forth between regular eating and cleansing and I think you can hurt yourself. Cleansing is not a way of life and there is such a thing as too much cleansing. Between cleanses a highly nutritious building diet should be followed. Cleansing uses up a lot of reserves and these need to be replaced. Your weight will probably go up about 5
pounds when you start eating again and this is just bowel content and water weight.
Everyone is different and there is no 'best' length of time to be on the cleanse. Your body will decide what it needs to do and will run on it's own timetable and you cannot change that. I am on day 23 and have hardly lost any weight since day 16 but I also feel as though I have done detoxing for this round and strongly feel that I need to start building up my body again (I plan on stopping in the next day or so).
If you are going to go through with this then I would agree that you should ease off the cleanse slowly and get your stomach accustomed to food before you put pizza in it. You could get sick and that would not be fun for the visit nor healthy.
There are much better ways of losing weight than the
Master-Cleanse (and in my case faster ones too). Exercising while doing the cleanse is helpful too, just don't overdo it.
