This is what dating is all about. Finding out little-known nuances of your guy, what he likes, what he doesn't. What is tolerable to you, what isn't. 5.5 months is ample time to start to understand what a future relationship with this particular guy will become. Guys usually, USUALLY, don't change drastically once married. They continue on and further develop traits, good and bad, from dating into the sacred union. You're a smart girl. Most folks would say you're being petty, get over it. Not me! I'm impressed. What you see is what you get, Scarlet! It is unusual that a guy doesn't want sex all the time during the first months of dating, I agree with what you infer. I see where you're going with that. Guys usually want to hump all day every day during the first 6 months, then tone it down. Your guy is the opposite. He could very well be exhausted, aren't we all. I get that.

I've been around the block enough to know this: a serious relationship with this specific guy will take some compromise on your part. He has a ton of postives...this is one of those negatives. Your lousy choices in previous bedmates has made you a little slow to pull the trigger. Understandable. Too bad for him that sex is a top three concern for newly dating couples and newlyweds as well. Geez...couldn't he be a little sloppy or take too much time combing his hair or something you could live with?!! I can't tell you what to do here, but for me, it's a dealbreaker. You didn't want to hear that out in the open, but good consistent sex is a key element to happiness in a relationship. Those who say otherwise are liars and hoping you'll buy in to that fairy tale. You need it, he can't or won't supply it. Ball's in your court...just how nice a guy is he? You're trading in a basket full of orgasms every month at an expense. These are your best years we're talking about here. Tough call for most...not for me...
